I'm a keen Man Utd fan, with a soft spot for Celtic also. I'm also a regular at Ireland home internationals and i try to get away to one or two away matches during the campaigns.

Not a fan however of the FAI. They are a shambles of an organization and here's why;

Given the last 3 managers 4 year contracts, then sacked them all with 2 years + left, meaning millions of euro spent paying them off. Could have saved literally millions had they just issued 2 year contracts.

Promised to deliver a 'world class' manager, then changed that to 'world class management' team after appointing Steve Staunton, which obviously meant the FAI knew when they appointed Stan, he wasn't up to scratch and he was a cheap fix. They then take in a frail, ill man in Bobby Robson who spent all his time in this 'management team' in a hospital bed. The FAI then used him as a shield and allowed him to trake the flack for the Cyprus/San Marino disasters on radio phone in shows.

They paid millions for an outside report (genises report) on the FAI as an organization, which only served to highlight what a shambles they are.
